The Faculty of Health Sciences of Villa College conducts an Oath-Taking Ceremony for the first year 3rd semester, Diploma in Nursing programme students in the Ocean View Hall at Villa College.
The ceremony began with the welcome remarks of the Rector of Villa College, Dr. Ahmed Anwar followed by the invocation of oath by the Chief Guest, Maimoona Shujau, Director General of the Villimale’ Hospital. 112 first year Diploma in Nursing students officially took their oaths to pledge their commitment in caring for the sick to the best of their knowledge and ability.
Furthermore, in this ceremony, 23 Diploma in Nursing students from the cohorts of 2020, graduated and officially received their certificates from the Chief Guest, Maimoona Shujau, Director General of the Villimale’ Hospital.
In the speech by the Chief Guest, she encourages the students to stay true to the oath they have taken. This was followed by a speech given by the representative of the Diploma in nursing programme extending the students gratitude to the faculty members. The ceremony ended with a few remarks by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Dr. Asma Ibrahim Sulaiman where she congratulated the graduating students and wished the very best for first year Diploma in Nursing students.
