OUR FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES CONDUCTS CLINICAL ORIENTATION FOR NURSING STUDENTS

The Faculty of Health Sciences of Villa College, recently organized an orientation session for C4 and Diploma Nursing students who are embarking on their clinical placements. The orientation aimed to prepare students for their clinical rotations, during which they will gain hands-on experience in various hospital settings.

As part of their clinical exposure requirements, students will be assigned to different wards within hospitals for a duration ranging from 4 to 6 weeks. This immersive experience will enable them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world healthcare scenarios and develop essential clinical skills.

We extend our gratitude to the following hospitals for their collaboration and support in facilitating these clinical placements:

Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH)
Hulhumalé Hospital
Tree Top Hospital
The partnership with these esteemed healthcare institutions provides invaluable opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and refine their nursing practice under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals. We are confident that these clinical experiences will contribute significantly to their professional development and prepare them for successful careers in the field of nursing.
