Villa College holds an art and design exhibition for the C4 Creative Arts and Design students. The event was held in the Villa College Hall on 04th October 2021. During this exhibition, students showcased the work they have done throughout the programme. Especially, the movie trailers that they prepared according to the movie posters that they prepared, showcased their excellent talents. Furthermore, the Spectrum Book, which contains a catalogue of all the displayed work, was launched during the ceremony by the Chief guest, Rector of Villa College, Dr. Ahmed Anwar. In his remarks, Rector, Dr. Ahmed Anwar assured that Villa College will always strive to create unique opportunities for students to excel in all the different areas available. In addition, two lecturers who were integral in the preparation of students for this exhibition, Ms. Fathimath Shara Waheed and Mr. Mohamed Shaaz mentioned in their remarks that students have made an incredible achievement by completing such a practical programme virtually during a global pandemic. They stated further that Villa College has done exceptionally well and proved that such a programme can be conducted virtually without compromising the quality of teaching and learning. This was mirrored by the student speaking on behalf of the students, Rif'aa Mohamed Hussain, who thanked the lecturers and the College for the availability and support in helping them to complete their programme without compromising the learning outcomes. This is the first exhibition of its kind, which will be held for all the C4 Creative Arts and Design batches going forward.
