February 4, 2025 – The Institute for Research and Innovation (IRI) at Villa College kicked off its Pensieve Workshop Series 2025 on February 4th. The workshop, facilitated by Dr. Subhasree Nag, Lead Solution Consultant for the Research & Analytics division at Clarivate Analytics (Web of Science), marks the beginning of a two-day intensive program designed to enhance research capabilities within the college.

The series comprises three key sessions, covering critical aspects of research including grant writing, manuscript preparation, and research capacity building. The inaugural session, delivered yesterday, concentrated on strategies for crafting manuscripts suitable for publication in high-impact journals. Dr. Nag also provided valuable guidance on identifying reputable journals and avoiding predatory publications.

Around 60 academic staff members actively participated in the session, demonstrating Villa College's commitment to fostering a robust research environment.

Sessions two and three of the Pensieve Workshop Series will continue today, delving into advanced strategies, case study analysis, and best practices in scholarly publishing.
