VILLA COLLEGE SIGNED AN MOU WITH ASIA PACIFIC INSTITUTE OF MONEY AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT, SRI LANKA (IMED)

Villa College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Asia Pacific Institute of Money and Entrepreneurship Development, Sri Lanka (IMED) on 11th October 2024.


The MoU covers collaboration between the two institutions in the form of mentoring support, start-up exchange programmes, resource facilitation for workshops and programmes, capacity building and knowledge sharing, and the promotion of entrepreneurial initiatives. This agreement will provide support for the newly established Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (CIED) under the Qasim Ibrahim School of Business (QISB), giving further opportunities for students in the avenue of entrepreneurism.


The MoU was signed by the President of IMED, Sri Lanka, Mr Chaaminda Kumarasiri and Vice Rector, Dr Ali Najeeb, who was accompanied by the Deputy Vice Rector, Mr Abdul Munnim Mohamed Manik, and Deputy Dean of QISB and Director for the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (CIED), Dr Damith Gangodawilage.
