The Diploma in Banking and Finance programme is aimed at students who wish to build a career-path in the banking and finance sector. The programme covers a broad range of banking and finance topics contextualized to the Maldivian context. It is designed to align with modern financial markets, and incorporates topics such as financial markets and institutions, risk management, corporate finance, ethics and governance in banking, econometrics, Islamic banking and finance, data management, and investment analysis. The programme also develops students’ self-confidence, innovative skills and self-reliance, thereby enabling them to work independently.
